In 1986, a scholarship award program was started to honor local women who are working towards career goals. What began as a $500 scholarship given to one student going to college has mushroomed into 65 scholarships totaling $228,000 in 2012.  Below are the past winners.  Follow our link to those women who have been honored, post-humously.
